Acoustic insulation
An acoustic insulation reduces the intensity of surrounding sound or prevent unwanted noise to enhance comfort and minimize noise. Different type of acoustic insulation repel, absorb or disperse noise to keep sound intensity at a manageable level and to increase productivity without any disturbance. It is not only used to insulate Floor, or at adjoining Walls but it is also use to Insulate Pipe and Ducts. In Industries and machines in factories, Industrial Blowers, AHU units which produces huge amount of sound. To reduce intensity of sound these units are insulated with acoustic material.
Some materials are used as a sound barrier which prevents transmission of sound from one place to other such material have high STC (sound transmission coefficient)
Material Recommended
An ideal acoustic material, having open cell structure and high noise reduction coefficient and in some cases high Sound transmission coefficient
